Single‐site robotic cholecystectomy versus single‐incision laparoscopic cholecystectomy: A systematic review and meta‐analysis
نویسندگان
چکیده
Background The possibilities of minimally invasive cholecystectomy have emerged since the beginning single-incision laparoscopic (SILC) and single-site robotic (SSRC). This study aimed to compare feasibility, safety, pain scores between SSRC SILC. Methods authors searched randomized or non-randomized controlled trials observational studies in PubMed, EuroPMC, ClinicalTrials.gov from April 2012 until 2022. analyzed operation time, hospital stay, blood loss volume, conversion rate, intraoperative complication rates, postoperative complications, visual analog scale (VAS) immediately after surgery, VAS at discharge. aligned with PRISMA AMSTAR guidelines. Results Thirteen were selected 817 757 patients who underwent Thus, this demonstrated a lower incidence rates [relative risk (RR) 0.57 (95% CI 0.34–0.96), p = 0.03] lesser score discharge [Std. Mean Difference (SMD) −0.23 −0.46, −0.01), 0.04] group. Regarding time cost, revealed longer [SMD 1.02 0.45, 1.59), 0.0004] higher cost 4.18 1.77, 6.58), < 0.00001], respectively. Meanwhile, did not differ SILC during surgery. Conclusions Concerning discharge, was superior is considered feasible safe procedure.

متن کاملSafety Outcomes of NOTES Cholecystectomy Versus Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis
OBJECTIVE Natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery (NOTES) is an endoscopic technique whereby surgical interventions can be performed with a flexible endoscope passed through a natural orifice (mouth, vulva, urethra, anus) then through a transluminal opening of the stomach, vagina, bladder, or colon. Although in the early stage of research and development, NOTES has been clinically appli...

PURPOSE This study compared the effects of robotic single-port cholecystectomy (RC) and 3-port laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) on patients' surgical pain, postoperative complications, and satisfaction. METHODS One hundred twenty patients with gallbladder disease scheduled for either LC or RC were recruited. Each patient was followed up for 1 week after hospital discharge. RESULTS Time sta...
متن کاملRobotic single-incision laparoscopic cholecystectomy
Single-port laparoscopy attempts to further reduce the surgical impact of minimally invasive surgery when compared to conventional laparoscopy [1–4]. Single-port laparoscopy might in general result in enhanced cosmetic outcomes and potentially reduced pain when compared to the conventional multi-port technique [5–8]. While manual single-port laparoscopy comes with certain technical limitations ...
متن کاملA cost-minimization analysis of laparoscopic cholecystectomy versus open cholecystectomy.
BACKGROUND Earlier economic analyses have evaluated charges but not costs, and have not considered the cost of production losses associated with open and laparoscopic cholecystectomy. This study attempted to accomplish an economic evaluation of open versus laparoscopic cholecystectomy from the point of view of society. METHODS A cost-minimization analysis, using a clinical decision model, was...
